The final event of the 2009 Michigan Player's Tour will be played on one of the most difficult test of golf in Michigan available for public play, Eagle Eye Golf Club. Designed by Chris Lutzke in collaboration with Pete Dye, Eagle Eye has several holes reminiscent of the TPC at Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra, Florida, home of the Player's Championship on the PGA Tour. In particular, the 17th at Eagle Eye is an exact replica of the island green 17th at TPC Sawgrass. One of the characteristics of Eagle Eye is a number of approaches to greens set near water hazards, creating extremely challenging approaches.
